Diseases due to physical and chemical agents

Just as biological agents like bacteria, viruses and fungi can produce diseases, physical and chemical agents like heat, cold, x-rays, actinic rays, high altitude, various chemicals and poisons can also produce marked derangements in the body thereby produce disease.
Diseases due to injury:
These are due to injuries such as cuts, wounds, stabs, fractures, head injuries and so on. These form a part of the discipline of surgical science.
